An update...

Since my last post, I've gone for my driving test and passed it. I've even received my driver's license! ;D The driving test was okay but the main points deducted were because of my speed and my lack of stops at the junctions. In regards to my speed, I was beeing careful with how fast I turned cause my instructor said that I turn too fast. Looks like the examiner thought differently. As for the lack of stops...hmm, maybe a 1 second stop was too short a time...

Anyway, apart from that, work is fine. But I am starting to find myself having some issues with the management. I know it's the same everywhere, but it's still a little frustrating to bear at times. The only consolation is that I'm not the only person that feels that. lol...

I have read quite a number of books also. There was a considerable amount of books that I bought during Christmas time and now I'm left with 23 more books to go. :D The last one I read was The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, which was rather...interesting to say the least.

I also recently finished watching True Blood. Originally, I had read the first two novels of Charlaine Harris when I was back in Malaysia. But I stopped because at that time the third book wasn't out yet and forgotten about it after that. When the tv series appeared on HBO and after watching it, I got the feeling that the story is somewhat different. So, since there are algether 8 novels now and one coming in in May, why not read the books to see how different it is. At the moment, I have the library email me when the books are available. Going to pick up 2 of them today afternoon. :) Oops, looks like my books on my shelf would have to be neglected again temporarily. hehehe

Not sure whether I mentioned it here, but I also got myself a new laptop. It's a gaming laptop and supposedly allows you to play the latest graphic intensive games out there in the market. However, my laptop seems to be having moments of freezing displays. I've emailed Gateway (that's the brand of my laptop) about it and they say base on my information, it could be because of the game. It happens a lot whenever I play Left 4 Dead and Mass Effect. I've begun to accept that maybe despite its stated system capabilities that exceed requirements of the game, it would still be at its limits when it's so graphically intensive. :P Because old games don't seem to cause the same problem.

Also, my credit card was apparently involved in a fraud activity. The bank froze the account so I called them to find out what happened and after some verification of my last purchases, they determined that one of the purchases made through the card was some kind of fraud. So, they've sent me a new card to replace it and I have yet to use it. Hmm, how does one determine whether an online website is legit and safe to use? :P

Lastly, I've been receiving a lot of unknown calls on my cellphone. Every time I pick it up, there's not reply on the other side and it ends after a few seconds. I don't know how to block it since the number doesn't show. Right now I've resorted to just not answering it at all. If I change my phone number, I lose my current phone plan, which is the cheapest one out there and can't be found anymore since it was a promotion at that time.

Well, that's it for now until I find something interesting to blog about. lol
