Kogi truck...

Yesterday, my former colleague decided to take me to Eagle Rock to eat Korean BBQ tacos. It's not at some restaurant but it's from a truck, namely the Kogi Truck. :) This is their logo.

These Kogi trucks use Twitter to let people know when and where they are going to be. It is so effective and their food is so popular that a lot of people actually come to line up in advance! When we reached the spot where it would be, there were already a bunch of people lining up.

The food that they serve is basically tacos and burritos filled with Korean style fillings. I had Spicy Pork and Short Ribs tacos. The tacos are the soft types and relatively smaller than a Taco Bell's taco shell but they did give two of those shells. The vegetables in it are mostly cabbages. But what's delicious is the meat and sauce. ;9 Not bad, really.

So far, they only have two trucks. But because business is doing good, they are getting a third one. They had better cause they are getting popular! I wouldn't mind going to them instead of Taco Bell if only they were more convenient to go to. I had to take a bus to reach them! :P And when I'm hungry, that's a hassle...

I'm still waiting to hear about you starting up Kitty Truck to sell nasi lemak burittos, bak kut teh spaghetti, roti macaroni & cheese, rendang pitas and other goodies. :D
