Took a walk up and down Central Avenue and Brand Boulevard...

Feeling extremely bored one morning, I decided to pick up my camera and start exploring the streets where I live. Some of the places I saw I've seen before. But for the sake of documenting it and letting my family and friends see what's there, I've uploaded it onto my Facebook account. You can check it out there.

On Central Avenue there's just plenty of commercial and office buildings. But as for Brand, there's definitely plenty of restaurants to try if you have the money for it. Half-way down, I spotted the chess park. . There are 41 public parks in Glendale that I'm planning to visit. The north part of Brand contains the restaurants. Due south are the cars: Honda, Chevrolets...

The entire walk just took about 1 hour and a half. I think on my next off day I will explore a little bit of San Fernando and Loz Feliz and some parks...

I was just thinking how much more interesting walking around somewhere like Glendale is, compared with walking around places like where we live in Malaysia. There's so many interesting-looking spots and parks scattered here and there, whereas in Malaysia it's just one big housing estate... house everywhere and parks are just fields.
And it's just so hot... too hot to be walking around for fun in Malaysia. :P
