Went to fix my bike...

A few days ago, the wire for my front brakes of my bike snapped. I could still ride on it but with only the back brakes to slow the bike. Yesterday, I thought of going to that bike shop near my place to fix it but unfortunately it was closed for some reason. So, today I called and it was open! :) So, off I went...

At the shop, this old rather portly guy but with a kind face told me that he had to go to Arizona to open his museum. It's a bike museum that would contain his antique bikes that he has been collecting. I thought that was rather cool and interesting. Maybe one day I would visit the place.

As he was working, there was this cat sleeping on his table. Its tail was flicking every now and then. According to him, it's a stray cat that's been around for almost 7 years. He calls it Hissy because when it first came, it always hissed at anything. Now it didn't even budge from its sleep when the guy poke and prod him. lol. Cute. ;D

Finally, after a nice talk with the guy, having met his free loader Hissy, my bike was fixed. It cost me $12.

From the angle you took your photo, the cat looks grumpy and annoyed... :D Like not a friendly-looking cat... :D And it doesn't really look like a pet cat... more like a stray cat like the kind you can find in Malaysia wandering about! ;D
Anyway I'm sure you had fun with your friend. :D I hope you pet and poked it too! ;D Hehehe...

Actually, this is just a photo from the internet that I borrowed to represent the cat I saw. ;D The cat I saw was too far in the workshop for me to take a shot ;D...
