A few days ago, Daniel's Dell Inspiron mini 10v arrived. :D Daniel decided to get this a temporary measure for his university purposes until he get a proper desktop. Meanwhile, his brand new Dell desktop computer sits at home in DJ, collecting dust...unused...untouched...unloved...sob.
Anyway! :D I've been testing it out for him and it's working super fine :D Not as fast or powerful as my laptop but the good thing about it is its size, mobility and long lasting battery power (5-6 hours?) Ah, so jealous...
Now, all there's left is to wait for Daniel to arrive and collect it! :D

Ahh, at least this is something.
So ... how excited are you, when he finally gets there? You only have a week or so (by the sound of his mass email), so what are you going to do when he is there?
Have you arranged to take time off? Are you going to New Mexico with him to have a look around? Are you planning trips already, to New Mexico? :) How far is it from where you are?
Yeah, eventhough it's only going to be a week, but to see him again after so long is pretty exciting in itself! ;D As for what we are going to do, I'm going to leave it to him :D He is probably going to be very tired from travelling. So far, we've decided to watch Bruno and Hangover and getting some phone plans. ;D We'll see how things go. I arranged for 1 week to be off until he leaves, which includes my regular 4 off days of the week. :) Haven't planned any trips yet to New Mexico. ;D I figured that can wait till next year. I haven't even decided to go back to Malaysia yet and I don't have much leave left to take! New Mexico is about two states away. Well, sort of. ;D Since I'm further up north, it counts as Nevada and Arizona separating us. If I'm south of California, it would be just Arizona. But still! At least we're on the same continent now! hahaha
Yes, it is usually quite "frustrating" to not have a lot of annual leave accumulated - but you do what you can.
Hope you have a really lovely time together ... and you might start spending your $$$ on airfares like me, unless it doesn't take too long to travel by car / train / bus to NM.
Haha...yeah. First stop will have to be Malaysia though. ;D Haven't been back since I arrived here.
Hmmm... want to plan for Sept next year? I think that's when we're planning to get married! :)
Hmmm... I was planning to comment about how pleased I am with my new Dell netbook, it being so light and mobile, but then after seeing that the current topic of discussion is, oddly, nothing to do with the topic being blogged about, I think I shall start talking about pink polka-dot elephants. So, what about pink polka-dot elephants? Well, they're weird.
We're all ears now! :D What do you think of your netbook? ;D
