This summer hadn't been as hot as it was last year. I guess it's due mainly to the fact that I made full use of my window fan instead of conserving electricity, wore clothes that's better suited to the weather and making smart decisions on when to go home from my workplace that has a/c.
Eventhough, summer hadn't been that bad for me, unfortunately for some it had been horrible. Several forest fires happened up north of California and I could see the smoke billowing into the skies like clouds of mushrooms. Almost every day, one could hear the fire trucks blaring their sirens as they raced to some destination where a possible fire was happening. It was also sad that in their line of duty, 2 firemen perished to contain the fire. My prayers to their family and loved ones.
Another good thing with the summer coming to an end is that there are lesser spiders around now. :D I guess they've ended their cycle and died out. Now, the next thing to look forward to is my plan to visit the Los Angeles Zoo this autumn, Thanksgiving pumpkin pie and pumpkin spice lattes and Halloween!!!

Wow!!! :D Looks like someone planning to visit the zoo, eh? ;D I wonder how it is compared with Malaysia's zoo (should be way better haha), and how is it compared with that San Diego one we saw. :D

And Halloween... hehehe... you can dress up as a black cat... and wear your lighted black cat badge ;D :D
